Sondra H. Rupert, 78, Altoona, passed away early Thursday morning at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late John C. and Grace A. (Wolfe) Rupert.
She is survived by a brother: Gary R. Rupert (Judy) of Altoona; two sisters: Gloria Salomie of Altoona and Kathy Ashby (Larry) of Reno, NV; a sister-in-law, Barbara Rupert of Altoona; a brother-in-law, John Prescott of Chester, VA; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Prescott and a brother, John Rupert, Jr.
Sondra was a 1957 graduate of Altoona High School. Upon graduation, she worked for the TB Society and for Georgia Vending Company.
At the request of the deceased, a private family service will be held.
