Kevin T. Pfahler

Kevin T. Pfahler, 59, Altoona, passed away early Thursday morning at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Donald R. Pfahler and Carol Wyandt Goodman.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Kay (Mort) Pfahler; seven children: Angela Mitchell, Jacqueline Tordella, Nichole Smith, Christa Mort, Erin Balliet, John Balliet Jr. and Denyel Barnhill; 16 grandchildren; three siblings: Linda Rock, Rick Pfahler and Susan Pfahler; and his beloved dog, Poochie.

Kevin served in the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong member of the Bavarian Aid Society and the Buccineese Society, and he enjoyed watching racing and sports.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, where military honors will be presented.
