Marjorie M. Turnbaugh

Marjorie M. Turnbaugh, 97, Altoona, died Saturday morning, July 28, 2018 at her home. She was born on November 3, 1920, in Kinston, NC, a daughter of the late Isaac and Novella Katherine Marshburn. She married Arthur R. Turnbaugh on May 2, 1944, in Kinston, NC. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1997.
She is survived by her son, David R. Turnbaugh (Betsy), of Altoona and two grandsons, Daniel and Douglas, both of Altoona.
She was a member of the Juniata United Methodist Church where she was active in the church prayer circle. During her working years she worked as an LPN at the Altoona Hospital. She was a graduate of Wheat Swamp High School in North Carolina.
Friends will be received from 5-8pm Tuesday, July 31, 2018, and from 10 until the 11am funeral service on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., with Rev. Julie Piper, officiating. Interment at Alto Reste Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Juniata United Methodist Church, 808 N 4th St, Altoona, PA 16601 or to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue,
