Marian Grace Edwards

Marian G. Edwards, 93, of the Winds at Mattern Orchard, formerly of Juniata, passed away early Wednesday morning at the home.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Chester and Verna (Clapper) Woomer. She married Arthur R. Edwards in Juniata on June 14, 1945. He preceded her in death in May of 1991.
She is survived by four children: Deborah Burtoft of Washington, PA, Rebecca Barger of Hollidaysburg, PA, John Arthur Edwards of Herndon, VA, and Diane Boslet of Ashville, PA; 20 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Louis Craig; four brothers: Les, Guy, Chet and Don; and a sister, Ethel.
Marian was a homemaker, and then later worked at and retired from the Altoona Area School District Tax Office.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, August 22, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., with Pastor Scott Barger, officiating. Interment will be made at the Mennonite Cemetery, Martinsburg.
