David H. Maurer

David H. Maurer, 77, Altoona, passed away at his home Monday morning. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Harold M. and Vivian E. (Carter) Maurer. He married Jane Kochara November 14, 1964 in Gallitzin.

Surviving is his wife Jane; his son David Maurer and his wife Heather of Hollidaysburg, his daughter Theresa Maurer of Altoona, his son Thomas Maurer of Altoona; five grandchildren: Martina, Chuckie, Abby, Payton, and Josslyn; his sister Donna Walls, and his two brothers: Duane and Dwight Maurer, both of Altoona.

David served in the U.S. Navy. He had enjoyed fishing and hunting, and also being involved with his children in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Troop 117.
