Joan M Kibler

Joan M. Kibler, 87, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Lester and Dorothy (Michaels) Tremmel. On July 29, 1950, she married Anslem Kibler, Jr., in Cumberland, MD. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Surviving is her very special daughter Robyn Senitko (Bill) of Altoona; her sons Larry Kibler (Gretchen) of Mt. Joy, PA, and Randy Kibler (Barbara) of York Pa; six grandchildren: Lori, Joey, Billy, Annette, Traci, and Jennifer; nine great grandchildren: Brittney, Kylie, Cassidy, Jordan, Tyler, Landyn, Skylar, Jamie; and her special great granddaughter, Katie, who she loved to the moon and back. She is also survived by her sisters Ardyth Hughes and Sylvia Hoehn, and her brother William Tremmel.
Joan retired from the accounting department at Sheetz, Inc., and had previously worked for 10 years at K-Mart. After retiring, she served as the business manager for the Allegheny Ballet Co. she enjoyed scrap booking, loved flowers, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 3:00 until the 6:00 PM funeral service on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata. Interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
