Theresa Marie Bernard, 72, Altoona, passed away early Friday morning at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Boston, MA, a daughter of the late Henry Theodore and Gladys Marie (Frotten) Bernard.
She is survived by the father of their children, Miguel Malag Lumbag; four children: Mary E. Ross of Bushkill, PA, Miguel A. Lumbag and wife Rhonda of Burke, VA, Paul H. Lumbag and wife Kerrie of Carbondale, PA, and Lucia M. Lumbag of Altoona; nine grandchildren: Nicole Ross, Kimberly Ross, and Tyler Ross, Jared, Ethan, Marina, and Gabriel Lumbag, Shiloh Hicks, and Miguel O. Lumbag; four great grandchildren: Andres Pena, Kylie Feener, D’metri Walk, and Phoenix Hicks; six siblings: Henry Bernard, Dorothy Santos, James Bernard, Nancy Wilson, David Bernard, and Robert Bernard; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Steven Ross and a brother, Stevie Bernard.
Theresa was a homemaker. She cared and loved for her family and children. She especially loved to do arts and crafts and spend time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held.
