Anna M. Benner

Anna M. Benner. 87, Altoona, passed away early Friday morning at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph Masciarellia and Mary (Spinazolla) Stiffler. On December 28, 1953 she married Stanley E. Benner in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2001.
She is survived by two sons: Michael E. Benner of Key West, FL and Shane S. Benner of Altoona; a grandson, Damien Anthony Messner of Greenwood Lake, NY; and a sister, Cornice Judith “Judy” Killinger and husband George of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin A. Messner.
Anna was a homemaker and a member of the Jaggard Street United Methodist Church.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata and on Tuesday, February 19 from 10 until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service with Pastor Charles Baughman officiating. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
