Donald V McConahy, Jr

Donald V. McConahy, Jr, 69, Altoona, passed away Friday at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Donald V. McConahy, Sr., and Doris G. (Hoffman) McConahy, who survives him.

Also surviving are numerous nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Amos Ferguson.

Donald retired from Tyrone Township Road Maintenance. He was an Altoona Area High School graduate. He was a highlander—skilled with the bagpipes, which he very much enjoyed playing, as well as riding his motorcycle, and flying.

A memorial service will be held for Donald on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. Inurnment at Grandview Cemetery.
